"Lumos" is an innovative AR system designed to transform nature exploration into an immersive and informative experience. This system addresses the common challenges faced by outdoor enthusiasts, such as navigation, species identification, and safety, by providing intuitive and interactive solutions.

To integrate AR technology seamlessly with nature, helping users navigate their surroundings while maintaining an organic experience of the world.

For every outdoor enthusiast, from the novice to the experienced, to embrace nature through immersive, intelligent augmented experiences that enrich and safeguard their journey.
Problem
Nature explorers often find it difficult to navigate unfamiliar terrains and identify the diverse species they encounter. Traditional methods like physical maps or mobile apps can be cumbersome, distracted and less immersive.

Why AR?
Recognizing that traditional methods of outdoor navigation and species identification can be limiting, we turned to AR for its potential to merge the physical with the digital. AR allows for an interactive, intuitive experience, providing real-time information and guidance seamlessly integrated with the natural surroundings.
How does it interact?

Voice
The built-in microphone captures the user's voice commands. AI parses these commands, extracts key information and performs corresponding actions. The information or feedback is returned to the user, usually in the form of voice or on-screen display.

Smart Navigation
The navigation bar on the ground will only appear when the user has just started their journey or headed to wrong direction for a while, which minimizing obstruction of vision and allowing the user to explore freely.
