Overview
Traditional museum experiences often end without personal gain, leaving visitors craving more understanding and connection with the art. Our project tackles this by offering AI-driven personalized tours, immersive AR interactions, and rewarding engagement opportunities. We ensure a richer understanding and engagement with art, transforming each visit into a memorable and enlightening journey.
Museum visits frequently leave guests feeling disconnected and overwhelmed, due to complex or limited explanations of artworks, and a lack of engagement or takeaway value from the experience.

Insights
Access to the artworks
Art is for the public, everyone should be welcomed to appreciate it, but many artworks are limited to experience. Users want to feel more associated with the artworks. Also, providing a richer context allows everyone, irrespective of language or reading preference, to feel deeply connected.
Association
“I use the QR code to like, watch some of the paintings, listen to the music, you feel like associated with it, which was nice.”
Welcomed
“A place that welcomes people from all different backgrounds to come in and learn about the same thing in the same space.”
Limited
"Reading about a painting often feels like a barrier, especially if English isn't your first language.”
Access to the experience
Museums integrate technology to enhance visitor engagement, but complex processes can hinder immersion. Tech should complement, not overshadow, the art. Additionally, chronological art displays often lack a cohesive thematic narrative.
Navigation
“Why museums always have unclear map, I took many time to figure out which area I want to go next”
Flow
"I sometimes find it jarring when moving from one gallery to the next. The pieces feel isolated in time without a clear thread linking them."
Immersive
“I thought one of the issues was to get your phone out and look at it, then click the button, and it would open the Safari. These steps interrupted my experience.”
Access to the audience
In Museums, audience has so many insights and ideas, and they want a way to express or share their thoughts. Audience also crave more public experience within the museum where they interact. Many solo visitors also harbor a desire to engage in conversations to enrich their understanding.
Communication
“I think it will be cool to communicate with others, like an online space, not necessarily in person.”
Inspired
“I think it’ll be great have a place where people could create something or like people come inspired. Everyone could come together.”
Conference Idea
“maybe they're really interested in what you are interested in too. There could be something, or some way to connect with other people trying to start a conference idea.”
How might we create a more personalized and engaging museum experience that demystifies artwork narratives and encourages active participation, leaving visitors with valuable insights and memorable encounters?
